p.s. it's almost 830a.m. and just got the call from my daughter Crystal

that he's here and he's perfect ... he looks like his little sister .. my little

Chloe. we will be going over there as soon as my dr appt is over that

we just have to go to!!!

such a special day!

in the Nursery

of course... he's my grand baby!

I'm a little bias about them all

they are all adorable

He is perfect!!!

He was crying when we got there .. I could hear him down the hall

as we approched the room my daughter is in, and I said

I just know that's him!

opened the doors, and a friend of my dauther was changing his diaper

he was wailing, didn't want that done at all

So Gigi (me) took over and he stopped crying

I changed his little tee shirt, wrapped him up in his

sweet little blanket and spent some great time with him

me, his pa pow and his uncle Tim, my youngest ...

Now I have 7 ... a very lucky number for us, he is the last one

that we will have .. now we will just spoil the heck out of them all

and watch them grow into good adults.

all the others are in their teens, except for Chloe

because she was re married a few years ago first they

had her older ones from her first marriage then they had Chloe

3 years ago, and now little Calum, a total surprise,

they weren't planning any others

I'm so glad though that it wasn't planned, surprised us all

even Shanda

oh and as soon as I held him and dressed him

he stopped crying, I used to talk to him when he was still growing in his mommy

maybe he stopped crying because he heard my voice and remembered me?

I'm not sure but I always would talk to him when I was with her, he was

crying so much unti I got there, and as soon as I started to talk he

stopped crying and was falling asleep as I cuddled and loved him

the most wonderful feeling in the world, and I will miss days like this

I feel like I'm glowing all over, I have to wait a week until she is

out of the hospital, since it was a c section and some extra surgery

so this won't happen again ... I'll never know the feelings I have right now

of holding my brand new grand baby on the day of their birth

but that's ok, I will never forget this day and all the other days

when the others were born, those feelings will always be with me

Heck I can still remember everything about the births of my own 3 kids

everything about tha day, all these yrs later.. I guess it's something

you just never forget .. it's an amazing feeling ..

we are complete now our little family

now we will wait for great grand.. OMG !!

I'm alreay freaking out about seeing the ones that are

about ready to start driving, making me VERY nervous

especially in this town, some drivers here are crazy and it's horribly busy

all the time

Well I will worry about all that later

here he is just a few hours old I'll have others from my visit with him

as soon as I upload them from my camera!

I was at the dr's when they came to me on my phone

and the dr said omg he looks like he's about 3 months old lol

just cos he was 8 lbs, but he's very tiny, and so very lovable!!  

The other picture is a full body pic, so you can see how big

he looked, such a sweetheart, bless his heart!

I know he's glad to be here!!

the ones from my camera that i'll upload later i didn't unwrap

him after I got him dressed and wrapped in his blankie

so I really want to get the other one on here, will have to try

that when i get back have to take the dog to the dr..

all is good with my world today!!!!

last week when she came over with grand daughter

Azia... she will be 3 in July on the 13th, and now

she has a baby brother

just found out ..

his score is 9.9 .. 10 is perfect!

and he weighs

8.1 pounds!!
